Final year in the twenties!

I love birthdays and my family and friends always make mine so much fun!! I have been lucky enough to be traveling the last three years; NYC for 2005 & 2006 and 2007 on our Caribbean Cruise.

This year we had fun at home with both of our families, our friends and best of all little Dylan. I can't believe I only have one year before the big 3-0 ... that USED to sound SO OLD to me! Now I am almost there and don't feel like I have aged, or maybe it's matured, a day since about 21 - I have a whole new perspective.

On the 13th we met Chris, Annie & Maiki and Jay & Heidi for a delicious dinner at The Bombay House.

We went up Little Cottonwood Canyon for a BBQ with my family on September 14th, it's SO PRETTY this time of year!

On my birthday friends came over to hang out, Krissy brought yummy spice cupcakes!

Then the 21st we went to Thomas' for dinner and Blackforest cake. I had to earn my awesome "frozen concoction maker" by winning hang man, Jim always does fun games for gifts at Christmas and Birthdays.

And finally my sister-in-law Kristi took me to Sego Lily Day Spa for pedicures - which were AMAZING and so RELAXING!

Ellen has a new fan...

Its ME! I get it, I am way behind on this one but this discovery can be credited to my new found life without work! I really love her and her show...She is so positive and funny, she seems to genuinely LOVE life.

You can tag and review your books, meet people with similar taste for recommendations, discuss books, join groups, etc. I have just joined and am updating my profile but really looking forward to lots of good recommendations!!

Dylan LOVES bath time!! Especially when Ryan fills the tub all the way and they turn it into swim time. Dylan knows exactly what to do and as Ryan lightly supports his head Dylan just kicks and kicks... like a pro!

I took Capri to be groomed last week and it totally made my day when I picked her up...doesn't she look adorable!? They usually put on a bandanna or something that makes her look like a boy dog but this groomer went all out with the bows!! :D

Fall is in the air...

I am so excited that it is nearly fall! This is my favorite time of year hands down!! Not only do two of my favorite holidays happen in the fall, my birthday and Halloween, but there are so many fun things going on outside in the beautiful weather. A couple of weeks ago we went to the balloon festival in Eden and this weekend we are going up to Oktoberfest at Snowbird. We also planted a new tree yesterday, finally a big one, it looks great! I will have to get pictures to post soon.

Ogden Valley Balloon Festival

Last weekend we took Dylan out for the first time! It was so nice to be out of the house, I hadn't left except to go to the Dr. in TWO WEEKS!! Ryan's Aunt, Uncle and Sister sang on Sunday morning up at Wolf Mountain with their band Pladdohg, it was so much fun to have him out in the fresh air. He loves being packed around in his Bjorn with Dad!
